How do I use it

What is AutoBulletins.Com for?
Using AutoBulletins.Com you have the ability to look-up Original Equipment Service (OEM) bulletins for your car. For example: if you are having trouble with squeaking brakes on your 1996 Chevrolet S-10 pickup and want to see if GM ever issued a  bulletin describing the fix for the problem then AutoBulletins.Com is your answer. After purchasing access to the system you would select Show me the Bulletins! from the main menu. You will be asked questions like make, model, year and vehicle system. Simply select your vehicle and system (in this case "Brakes, Power Brakes, Traction Control") and you will be presented with a list of bulletins pertaining to your vehicle and the selected system. If you click on one of the bulletin numbers a new window will appear with the actual service bulletin in Adobe Acrobat Reader format.

How do I use it?
For most people the Show me the Bulletins! choice will be just what you need. A Wizard will guide you through the selections necessary.

Remember it is as simple as:
(A)
Select your vehicle
(B)
Select the vehicle system
(C)
View the bulletins

What about the detailed look-up?
For users that need a more detailed search you will want to select Detailed look-up. With this search you can specify any/ all of the vehicle parameters. Initially ALL parameter choices will be available for each category. As you select a parameter  you should press select SUBMIT to reduce the choices to the ones appropriate for the vehicle you are looking for. As an example, if you were looking for Ford caliper bulletins you could initially select Ford as a make, and Brakes, Power Brakes, Traction Control as a Vehicle system.  Now you will notice all the remaining selection choices are only related to Ford. For example all the model selections are Aerostar, Aspire, etc.  Your can continue to refine your search until you find exactly what you are looking for.

Remember to start simple and press SUBMIT often as it is possible to select choices that never existed. For example, initially you could select a make of Acura and a model of Deville, and press SUBMIT. This would produce 0 records as Acura never made a Deville model.
